TECO-Boston holds “Taiwan Day” Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston) held the “Taiwan Day” commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act (TRA) at the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on April 7, 2019. Director-General and Mrs. Douglas Y.T. Hsu of TECO-Boston and all staff members attended the event. There were important photographs and historical documents regarding the Taiwan Relations Act on display, along with videos introducing Taiwan landscape and food.
More than 100 people attended the event, including Lt. Gov. Daniel McKee, government officials, and local residents. After the event, all staff members of TECO-Boston participated in community service activities with local volunteers at the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park.
