Health for Massachusetts, Taiwan Can Help (Finale-What’s Are Friends For)

On October 9, the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce of New England (TCCNE), represented by President I-hui Lai, donated 10,000 face masks to Worcester, the second largest city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Director-General Jonathan Sun of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston) , U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern (D-MA), Worcester Mayor Joseph M. Petty, and Massachusetts State Representatives John Mahoney and Jim O’Day were present. Congressman McGovern praised Taiwan as a true friend of the United States.
Director-General Sun noted that Taiwan is pleased to help Massachusetts in fighting COVID-19 and hopes relations among Taiwan, the U.S., and Massachusetts can be further enhanced.
