Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago (TACCGC) celebrates 2018 Lunar New Year

In celebration of Chinese New Year, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago held its 2018 Annual Dinner Gala on the evening of Saturday January 20th, 2018 at the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Approximately 600 guests joined the celebration dinner event, including Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner and First Lady Diana Rauner, Illinois State Representative Theresa Mah and many others VIPs.
In his remarks, Director General Calvin Ho of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago praised the contribution made by TACCGC to the local Taiwanese community in promoting the trade and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and the State of Illinois. Director General Ho said that he looked forward to the TCCGC’s continuing support and assistance and encouraged the attendees to visit Taiwan more often.
Gov. Rauner and Mrs. Rauner wished the attendees a happy Chinese Lunar New Year.
