Director General Louis M. Huang (third from the left) attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of “Treasures in Gold & Jade: Masterworks from Taiwan” at the Bowers Museum on April 1, 2021, and delivered remarks. He praised the two masters’ talent and ability to carve jade and gold into breathtaking artworks with their creativity, skills, and expertise. He hopes this exhibition will deepen Taiwan’s cultural understanding in the U.S. and facilitate more cultural collaborations between the peoples of Taiwan and the U.S.!
