Taiwanese movies Cities of Last Things and Long Time No Sea are nominated in Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival

The award-winning Taiwanese film “Cities of the Last Things” and “Long Time No Sea” have been nominated for the international narrative feature competition in the 35th 2019 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Taiwanese films are once again recognized in the biggest Asian American film festival with long history in Southern California. These two films will be screening in the evening on Monday, May 6 at Regal LA Live(Theater 12). Moreover, Wi Ding Ho, the Director of “Cities of the Last Things” will be attending the post-screen Q&A in person.
Aside from the two feature films, five Taiwanese short films will be included in the section “Spotlight on Taiwan”, as follows: “MAMA PINGPONG SOCIAL CLUB”(horror movie), I CAN’T BRING YOU AWAY(animation), The Visit(thriller), MERRY-GO-ROUND (family ), and GENTLEMAN SPA(LGBTQ).
