The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York is pleased to announce that the ‘Building Beyond Place: RUR Engages Taiwan’s Architectural Cosmopolitanism’ exhibition will take place from September 19 through October 17, 2019 at the E. TAY Gallery in New York.
The exhibition will showcase three award-winning projects by New York-based architecture firm Reiser + Umemoto (RUR): the Taipei Pop Music Center, Alishan tourist routes, and the Kaohsiung Port Terminal. The three designs, according to RUR, allow the architects to "[respond] to three geographically diverse post-industrial sites in Taiwan: urban Taipei, rural Alishan, and maritime Kaohsiung."
The exhibition is organized by the Taiwanese American Arts Council (TAAC), RUR and TECO in New York.
