Join Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York on Thursday, July 16 from 10 am to 12 pm (EDT) for a webinar on Emerging Stronger after COVID-19: Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development.
COVID-19 is not only challenging the global health system, but also deepening existing inequalities and disproportionately impacting vulnerable groups. Can science, technology and innovation (STI) measures be used to help bridge gaps and build resilience? The webinar invites representatives from government and various sectors, including public health, agriculture, finance, education, and social protection, to discuss these issues and seek solutions.
A joint event with TaiwanICDF and Columbia University's Center for Sustainable Development.
