Introducing Taiwanese performing arts groups at APAP|NYC+

The Taipei Cultural Center (TCC) at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York took part in a virtual conference of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) from January 8 to 12.
At the event, the TCC introduced 13 Taiwanese performing arts groups, which are scheduled to perform in North America over the next two years, with a short video. [Watch the Video]
These groups are the Ju Percussion Group, Cloud Gate Dance Theater of Taiwan, Huang Yi Studio +, Horse Dance Theater, Incandescence Dance, B. DANCE, Hung Dance, Tjimur Dance Theatre, Vincent Hsu & Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band, Small Island Big Song, Basiwali, Jin Kwei Lo Puppetry Company, and Puppet & Its Double Theater.
The APAP, headquartered in Washington D.C., holds its annual conference every January in New York, which is billed as the world’s premier gathering of performing arts professionals. Due to Covid-19, this year’s meeting was moved online.
