Director General Vincent Yao was invited to attend an inaugural for the advisory board of the Seattle Chapter of International Leadership Foundation (ILF)

The International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Seattle Chapter held an inaugural for its advisory board on May 26. Director General Vincent Yao of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle was invited to attend the event and made some remarks. He praised the good work of the ILF, under the leadership of its Founding President Chiling Tung, and the ILF Seattle Chapter under Chairperson Xiao-yen Wu, for lifting more than 7,000 young Asia Pacific Americans over the past years. Through ILF's scholarships, fellowship programs, Youth Ambassador Programs, etc., these young Asia Pacific Americans have had the chances to engage in political affairs and emerge in economic knowledge, so that they have been better equipped for becoming the future leaders.
Other VIPs include Washington State Senator Bob Hasegawa, Representative Mia Gregerson, former Lt. Governor Brad Owen, etc.
Dr. Shouan Pan, Chancellor of Seattle Colleges, gave a keynote speech, and Ms. Soo Kyung Koo, Executive Director of the ILF, talked about the mission of the organization and its current status.
