Taiwan Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission Visits the State of Wyoming for Meat Purchase

Taiwan’s meat delegation, a subgroup of 2019 Taiwan Agricultural Trade Goodwill Mission, visited Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming during Sept. 22-23, 2019. Mr. Ming-Sui Kao, Superintendent of Taiwan Frozen Meat Packers Association (TFMPA), Jim Magagna, Executive Vice President of Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WYSGA), Brad Graham, President of the Mountain States Rosen (MSR), and Brad Boner, Chairman of the MSR signed a letter of intent that Taiwan will continue to purchase U.S. meat products. Governor Mark Gordon and Alex Fan, Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle, witnessed the signing.
Thanks to the arrangement of the Wyoming Business Council (WBC), the delegation also visited several ranches, meat processing plants as well as the Meat Lab of University of Wyoming. Both sides exchanged their views through the visits on closer cooperation in the future.
