MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to award foreign experts and scholars interested in researches related to Taiwan, cross-strait relations, mainland China, Asia-Pacific region and Sinology to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan. It is worth noting that research themes of 2022 Taiwan Fellowship would focus more on topics relevant to Taiwan’s foreign policy ─i.e. Taiwan’s participation in regional economic cooperation, enhancement of global and regional connection, “New Southbound Policy,” combat of fake news and disinformation, and security issues in Asia and the Pacific.

- Research Proposal (three pages excluding references; academic format)
- Two letters of recommendation or one letter of recommendation and one letter of agreement from the highest administrative director of your institute.
