Gungahlin College started an online bilingual exchange program with students from Kaohsiung Municipal Nanzih Senior High School in Taiwan

On Wednesday the 6th of October, the students in Chinese course at Gungahlin College started an online bilingual exchange program with 35 year 10 students from Kaohsiung Municipal Nanzih Senior High School in Taiwan.
Through the power of Google Meet, an online meeting platform, the students from both schools met and said hello to each other for the first time. They were all very excited and had lovely smiles on their faces. The students went through a couple of activities together and communicated with each other, using both English and Mandarin Chinese. It was a great opportunity for our students to meet and exchange language and cultural insights to improve their Mandarin Chinese language. It is planned to have regular online meetings to discuss various topics like travel, tourist attractions and travel plans etc.
