Taiwan to Launch Mandatory Online Arrival Registration - Starting October 1, 2025

To enhance border clearance efficiency, all traditional paper-based Arrival Cards will go digital starting October 1, 2025. All incoming passengers will be required to complete the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) online：https://twac.immigration.gov.tw/ within three days prior to arrival.
WHO SHOULD SUBMIT?
Foreign nationals without "Alien Resident Certificate", "Resident Visa", or "Diplomatic ID card".
People of the Mainland Area holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits for the purpose of travel.
People of Hong Kong and Macau holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits.
Nationals without household registration without residence certificates of Taiwan Area.

Due to recent incidents where some travelers to Taiwan submitted mistakenly their entry information on fraudulent websites, resulting in personal data breaches and financial losses, please be advised that the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) is free of charge and can only be applied for through the official website of National Immigration Agency, R.O.C. (Taiwan): https://twac.immigration.gov.tw.
