Ambassador Douglas Hsu Opens 8th Taiwan in Australia Film Festival in Canberra
The 8th Taiwan in Australia Film Festival concluded successfully in Canberra, with Ambassador Douglas Hsu delivering opening remarks before the screening of the film Daughter’s Daughter. Ambassador Hsu expressed his appreciation to all distinguished guests, government representatives, academics, and members of the Taiwanese community for supporting Taiwanese cinema. He highlighted Taiwan’s cultural achievements alongside its technological leadership, emphasizing the richness and creativity of Taiwanese artists.
The two-day festival featured participants from Australia and international diplomatic missions, including Guatemala, the United States, Japan, and Canada. Ambassador Hsu also acknowledged the support of Peter Huang, President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Australia, and all chamber members.
