Nationals from visa-exempt countries (including the Kingdom of Thailand, the Philippines, and Brunei), are eligible to apply for the Digital Nomad Visitor Visa. This visa is designed for foreigners who wish to enter or stay in Taiwan for remote digital work.
Applicants must not be employed by companies/employers in Taiwan and must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Having previously obtained digital nomad visas from other countries and can provide documents of proof.
Be at least 30 years old and earned an annual income of at least USD 40,000 in one of the past two years.
Be between 20 and 30 years old and earned an annual income of at least USD 20,000 in one of the past two years.
