Ambassador Douglas Hsu Joins Canberra Taiwanese Community for R.O.C (Taiwan)'s 114th National Day Celebration

Ambassador Douglas Hsu and Madame Hsu, together with colleagues from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) and their families, participated in the 114th National Day celebration hosted by the Taiwanese Association of Canberra, Australia, attended by over 200 Taiwanese compatriots.
Ambassador Hsu expressed his gratitude to President Aden Wang and the association team for organising meaningful and creative cultural activities that strengthen community bonds.
During the event, Ambassador Hsu reminded Taiwanese travellers to comply with Australia’s entry regulations. The celebration included a “Step and Stamp” walking activity, where participants collected scenic stamps featuring Taiwan’s landscapes and cities. At the finish line, Ambassador Hsu and Madame Hsu distributed pineapple cakes and other snacks, sharing a moment of joy and cultural connection with the community.
The National Day celebration highlights the ongoing engagement of the Taiwanese community in Australia and TECO’s efforts to promote Taiwanese culture, strengthen community networks, and foster cultural exchange between Taiwan and Australia.
