Deputy Representative Regine Chen Welcomes Taiwan CDC Director-General Lo Yi-Chun on Visit to Australia

Deputy Representative Regine Chen welcomed Director-General of Taiwan CDC, Dr. I-Chun Lo, and his delegation on their visit to Australia, noting that the visit would help deepen Taiwan–Australia exchanges and cooperation in healthcare, public health, and infectious disease prevention, while further strengthening bilateral ties.

During his visit, Director-General Lo met with a number of Australian healthcare and public health institutions and exchanged views with local experts on disease surveillance, pandemic preparedness, vaccine policy, and health system resilience. The delegation also included renowned Taiwanese paediatrician Dr. Tsung-Ning Huang, who shared Taiwan’s experience and expertise in clinical medicine and public health.
