World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc (WMACI) Holds Presidential Handover Ceremony – Continuing the Legacy of Cultural Diversity
On June 7, the World Multicultural Arts Association hosted its presidential handover ceremony at the Queensland Taiwan Centre. Ms. Susan Yang was re-elected as President for an 11th term, continuing her dedicated leadership in promoting multicultural exchange between Taiwan and Australia.
Director-General William Fan attended the ceremony to extend his congratulations and presented a certificate of commendation on behalf of Overseas Community Affairs Council Minister Hsu, in recognition of President Yang’s long-standing contributions to cultural diplomacy and community engagement.
The event brought together nearly 40 guests, including community leaders, overseas compatriot affairs officials, and association members. Outgoing and new executive team members were also recognized for their selfless service. Guests enjoyed light refreshments and warm conversations following the formal proceedings.
