Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament & Charity Gala Highlights the Spirit of Giving in Queensland’s Taiwanese Community
2025年昆士蘭臺灣盃高爾夫球賽暨慈善聯合晚會於10月16日晚間在布里斯本楓林餐廳盛大舉行，近350位僑界人士、臺商代表及澳洲政要齊聚一堂，共同支持僑社回饋當地主流社會的善舉。
活動由第18屆主任委員沈易霖及昆士蘭臺灣慈善基金會董事團隊籌辦，范厚祿處長夫婦與駐處同仁應邀出席，並與布里斯本市長Adrian Schrinner夫婦、聯邦議員Julie-Ann Campbell、副議長黃文毅、落根市市長夫人Alison Raven及多位僑務榮譽職人員共同慶賀。
晚會除頒發高球賽各項獎項外，並由溫錦文董事長及沈易霖主任委員代表捐贈澳幣36,000元予布里斯本市長慈善基金，展現臺僑回饋社會的實際行動。范厚祿處長於致詞中感謝主辦團隊的辛勞籌辦，肯定基金會長年推動公益服務，充分體現「Taiwan Can Help」的溫暖精神。
2025年高球賽於10月14日假黃金海岸RACV Royal Pines球場舉行，吸引近150位選手參賽，由臺澳隊、陽光隊及華菁隊協辦，展現臺僑以球會友、團結互助與熱心公益的風範。
這場融合體育、慈善與友誼的盛會，不僅深化臺澳社會的連結，也彰顯臺灣社群「樂善好施、關懷社區」的核心價值。
Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament & Charity Gala Showcases the Giving Spirit of Queensland’s Taiwanese CommunityThe 2025 Queensland Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament and Charity Gala Dinner was successfully held on 16 October at the Maple Garden Restaurant in Brisbane’s southside. Nearly 350 guests — including members of the Taiwanese community, Taiwanese business leaders, and Australian dignitaries — came together to celebrate the spirit of charity and community service.
The event was co-organised by Chairman Wen and Chief Director Ian Shen, along with the Queensland Taiwan Charity Foundation Board. Director-General William Fan of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brisbane, accompanied by Mrs Fan and TECO colleagues, attended the gala alongside Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Ladymayoress Schrinner, Federal MP Julie-Ann Campbell, Brisbane Deputy Chairperson Steven Huang, Logan City Lady Mayoress Alison Raven, and several Taiwanese community leaders and honorary advisers.
During the gala, awards were presented to winners of the Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament, and the organisers donated AUD 36,000 to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust, accepted by Lord Mayor Schrinner. Director-General Fan expressed heartfelt appreciation to the organising team for their efforts and commended the Foundation for its longstanding commitment to public service, reflecting the compassionate spirit of “Taiwan Can Help.”
This year’s Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament took place on 14 October at the RACV Royal Pines Golf Course in Gold Coast, drawing nearly 150 participants from the Taiwanese community and co-organised by the Taiwan-Australia Team, Sunshine Team, and Elite Team. The tournament fostered friendship, unity, and generosity — hallmarks of the Taiwanese community in Queensland.
Combining sportsmanship, charity, and camaraderie, the Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament and Charity Gala once again demonstrated Taiwan’s warm and giving spirit and deepened the bonds of friendship between Taiwan and Australia.
