This office will issue single entry resident visas valid for three months from the issuing date to those who intend to work in Taiwan, the Republic of China. Applicants are required to apply for “Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)” at the National Immigration Agency within 30 days of their arrival in Taiwan.
Requirements:

Passport original (valid for at least 6 months with blank pages) & 1 photocopy of the biopage

If you are not Australian: Your valid Australian visa

Two 2 x 2 color photos taken within 6 months on WHITE background; the size of your head in the photograph must measure from bottom of chin to crown of head 32mm to 36mm.
- Go to website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw . Fill out the application form online and print it out. Make sure the application form shows a bar code on it. Sign the application form hard copy.
- Original Work permit* issued by Workforce Development Agency (The remaining period of employment stated on the work permit must be more than 6 months at the time of Resident Visa application) and 1 photocopy.
