2025 Second Call for the Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation (GPT)

To encourage the overseas publication of Taiwanese original works, the Ministry of Culture has launched the “Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation (GPT).” Key points are as follows:

Online application period: October 1–31, 2025 (Taiwan time, GMT+8).
Priority will be given to works that have received the Golden Tripod Award, the Golden Comic Award, the Taiwan Literature Award, or are featured in “Books from Taiwan.”
Each project is eligible for a maximum grant of NT$600,000 (inclusive of tax and remittance fees). Eligible expenses include licensing fees, translation fees, promotion, and book production costs.
