DG Fan attended the online meeting for the preparation of Sydney Area 109th Double Ten Celebration Preparation. In her remarks, DG Fan congratulated Chairman Jason Lin of Australian Taiwanese Friendship Association Sydney for being re-elected as this year’s preparation committee organizer. DG Fan expressed her support and recognition to Jason’s dedication and work ethics. She also thanked the Taiwanese community for their support in recent events such as the sky-writing and this year’s Taiwan film festival.
DG Fan also explained that even during this pandemic, our office has pushed hard to further our connections with NSW, we’ve held numerous webinars with academia and the political circle, and we’re cooperating with the NSW Treasury on Taiwan Market webinar on 19 August. The President of TAITRA, Mr. Walter Yeh has agreed to act as our speaker, making the event all the more meaningful.
The meaning of National Day is more than its formalities, DG Fan expressed her confidence in this year’s preparation committee’s creativeness to express the meaning of National Day.
