On July 1, the Belgian Chamber of Representatives passed the proposal for a “Resolution aiming to revive transatlantic relations after the American elections”, calling for the deepening of the structural dialogue between Europe and America on a number of issues regarding China. In this section, the resolution includes a reference to the issue of restoring peaceful relations across the Taiwan Strait.
Our office thanks the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for supporting the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait while expressing its clear stances on the promotion of the transatlantic partnership between Europe and the United States.
