Our thanks to the European Commission for recognising Taiwan's COVID Vaccination Certificate

The European Commission has decided to recognise the digital certificate of vaccination issued by Taiwan for the COVID vaccine, effective from December 22. The decision is expected to speed up the entry and customs procedure for Taiwanese nationals in the future as compared to the current paper-based vaccination certificate.
The European Union is the first region to mutually certify the COVID vaccination digital certificate with Taiwan. Thank you to the EU for reaffirming Taiwan's vaccination achievements.
Before travelling to the European Union and countries in the Schengen area, Taiwanese citizens are reminded to carefully check the entry regulations of the countries they are intending to travel to in order to ensure a smooth journey.
