Ambassador Ming-Yen TSAI attended the 2nd Taiwan-EU Occupational Safety and Health Cooperation Video Conference

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Taiwan OSHA) of the Ministry of Labor and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) held the 2nd Occupational Safety and Health Cooperation Video Conference on May 3rd.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Ming-Yen TSAI called for safe and healthy work to be the right of workers and the foundation of sustainable development. Occupational disasters bring significant human, social and economic costs, and efforts should be made to eliminate these costs by ensuring the safety of all workplaces.
In the face of the new occupational safety and health risks raising by the world of work, Ambassador TSAI hopes that through the cooperation and exchanges, Taiwan and the EU can work together to make workplaces of both sides safer, healthier and more efficient.
