Ambassador Ming-Yen TSAI attended the 4th Taiwan-EU Labour Consultation

The fourth EU-TW labour consultation was held in hybrid on 19th July. Taiwanese Labour Minister Ming-Chun HSU and Director-General of DG EMPL Joost KORTE held a high-level dialogue before the consultation, committing to cooperate to meet challenges and seize opportunities of digital transformation and green transition, promote decent work for workers and continue to share innovative practices.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Ming-Yen TSAI appreciated that the EU-TW labour consultation can often gathering colleagues and experts to discuss timely labour issues and emphasized that transformation and transition are always there, he hoped that Taiwan and the EU can continue to cooperate and communicate to bring about a virtuous cycle for sustainable development. He also confident that Taiwan and the EU can become each other's most trustworthy partner through cooperation in various fields under the sharing of common values on human rights, democracy, the rule of law and sustainable development.
