I. This announcement is issued in accordance with the NCCU Regulations for the Selection of College Deans, the Essential Requirements for the Selection of the Dean of the International College of Innovation, and the resolution passed during the first meeting of the Dean Search and Selection Committee on March 19, 2026.
II. The Dean shall serve a three-year term commencing on August 1, 2026. The appointee may be reappointed once upon the expiration of the initial term.
III. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold the rank of Professor at a university at home or abroad.
2. Possess an international perspective, academic leadership skills, administrative experience, a strong commitment to service, and high ethical standards.
3. Demonstrate significant academic achievements and prestige, with specialized expertise in interdisciplinary studies.
IV. Candidates may be nominated through the following channels:
1. Recommended by one of the departments, institutes or degree programs at the National Chengchi University.
2. Self-nomination.
3. Nominated by the Search and Selection Committee (with over 1/3 consensus).
V. If the selected candidate is an external applicant, they must complete the University’s faculty recruitment procedures to be appointed as a full-time Professor at NCCU prior to assuming the deanship.

VII. The Candidate Registration Form, along with all required supporting documents (hard copies and electronic files), must be received by the Search and Selection Committee no later than 5:00 PM on April 30, 2026.
