We welcome you to join us to learn Chinese in the heart of Brussels at Belgium’s most renowned university, KU Leuven!
We are happy to announce that after several years of introducing Belgian students to the Chinese language and culture, the Taipei Representative Office in the EU & Belgium, in collaboration with KU Leuven Campus Brussels, will offer a new Intensive Mandarin Summer Course this August. This one-month intensive Chinese language course is designed to respond to the growing demand for Chinese as a skill-set. The course will be taught by the experienced Chinese language teacher from the ‘Centre de Langues de Louvain-la-Neuve’ (CLL). Learning material will be provided by the language centre.
The course will offer ‘survival Chinese’; the essentials for listening and speaking in daily conversation. Students will learn how to greet others, introduce themselves, ask for directions, order a meal, etc. Cultural activities, such as calligraphy and a tea ceremony, will also be included. As the environment will allow for complete ‘immersion’, students should progress fast, especially in spoken Chinese. Those who pass the final exam at the end of the course, will receive a certificate.
The registration deadline for the course is August 14. We encourage all students and adults to participate in this practical and fun learning experience! Detailed course content and information can be found on the following website:
