Part-Time Vacancy (Fixed Term) at the Immigration Unit

of the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium

Job description

The Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium is looking for a part-time administrative assistant to carry out a wild range of administrative and support tasks within its Immigration Unit.

Qualifications and experience required：
1. have Belgian residence and a valid working permit;
2. have at least a bachelor degree, preferably a law- or social work-related degree;
3. have a good command of English (speaking and writing);
4. have fluency in either French or Dutch;
5. have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.);
6. having a Belgian driver's license is a plus.
Responsibilities：
1. to collect, translate and summarize EU directives and Belgian measures and related laws and regulations on immigration integration;
2. to establish a counseling mechanism for foreign (including Chinese) spouses and their children of Taiwanese nationals;
3. to prepare work reports;
4. other tasks assigned on an ad hoc basis.
Term of employment: 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020
