In order to create a friendlier international living environment, to boost the international service capabilities, and to make foreign friends more familiar to the life and the cultures in Taiwan, the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission (RDEC) has compiled “The Handy Guide for Foreigners in Taiwan.”
This booklet is a survival kit and contains all the important information about living in Taiwan, covering topics on immigration and visas, transportation, food, shopping, living tips, healthcare, banking services, employment and investment, and education. The goal is to help all foreign friends have a convenient and hassle-free experience in Taiwan.
Please note that the latest edition of “The Handy Guide for Foreigners in Taiwan” is now available as a free download (http://www.rdec.gov.tw), in both Chinese and English.
