Today, Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien was honored to meet with Hon. Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, as well as Mrs. Dian Maheia, C.E.O. of the Ministry, to hand over 5000 medical masks for protecting students and faculty in schools across the country.
The Embassy applauds the tireless efforts of the Ministry of Education and the teachers in Belize to ensure that all students return safely to school. We would also like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to all educators in Belize for their irreplaceable contributions to the national development of Belize.
Taiwan will continue to work closely with Belize to strengthen our educational cooperation and cultural exchange.
