Many thanks to the invitation of OAS/AZ Office, Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien attended the inauguration ceremony of Ta’Amay centers inside the Adjacency Zone Between Belize and Guatemala, jointly with Hon. Collet Montejo, Vice-President of Senate of Belize National Assembly, His Worship Jorge Rosales, Mayor of Benque Viejo, as well as H.E. Amb. Edwin R. Archila Falla of Guatemala and H.E. Amb. Martha Zamarripa Rivas of Mexico, both reside in Belize.
The Embassy would like to extend appreciation and admiration to the team of OAS/AZ Office for the excellent achievement they have accomplished, especially in the fields of capacity building and empowerment of women. We also look forward to working with OAS and the Government of Belize in the related issues to boost mutual benefits of our two peoples.
