Taiwan keeps supporting Belize to enhance the digital literacy and ICT capacity!
Ambassador Lily Li- Wen Hsu was delighted today to attend the Launch Ceremony of the Digital Connect Center located in Bullet Tree Falls Village in Cayo District, jointly with Hon. Michel Chebat, Minister of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics & E-Governance, Mr. Tai Wu, Chairman of Bullet Tree Falls Village Council, Mr. Robert Pan, Chief of Taiwan Technical Mission in Belize, and the local community members and students. The said center is supported by TaiwanICDF through the “Digital Inclusion Program” cooperated by governments of Belize and Taiwan, which aims to build up ICT capacity and provide digital access to rural residents in Belize.
The Embassy is proud to work closely with the Government of Belize to strengthen the bilateral partnership and to bring more meaningful projects to benefit Belize and its people.
