On the eve of the National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Embassy hosted a reception to celebrate the country’s birthday. We are grateful that more than 200 guests, including Belizean government officials, friends from academia, business, civil society, media, international community, as well as Taiwanese diaspora, joined us on this jubilant occasion.
As Oct. 11th marks the 36th anniversary of Taiwan-Belize diplomatic ties, Amb. Lily Li-wen Hsu, on behalf of the ROC (Taiwan) government, conferred a decoration on Amb. Dr. Candice Pitts for her contribution to promoting our bilateral relationship at the reception.
We sincerely thank our Belizean friends joining us to celebrate our Nation’s birthday and the enduring friendship between our two countries!
