Payment:
Payment is only accepted by Cash(Please prepare the full amount of fees, no change will be given for mailing and in person application.), Money Order, Bank Draft or Certified cheque (payable to “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada” or " Taipei Eco. & Cul. Office in Canada"). Personal cheque is not accepted.

NOTE:

When you purchase a Bank draft or Bank Cheque, please make sure the cheque contains the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) code.

1	Application form for authentication	A completed application form for document authentication filled and signed by the applicant.
2	The valid original passport and one photocopy of both parties	The original passport will be returned to the applicant after the process. In some circumstances, if you are unable to obtain another person's passport or ID, please contact us for further instruction.
3	The original and a photocopy of divorce documents	The document must be issued by provincial Superior Courts. If a court order or judgment needs to be authenticated, it should be treated as a separate document in your application.
4	PRE-PAID Return Envelope & Receipt	In Canada: - A PRE-PAID return envelope Xpresspost from Canada Post with Receipt Outside Canada: - A PRE-PAID shipping label from carrier company(eg., FedEx, UPS, DHL) with Receipt For detailed information please refer to "Postage Fee" post. We are not responsible for delayed, lost, or stolen mails. If you would like to apply by mail, a PRE-PAID self-addressed return Xpresspost envelope /Courier shipping label is required.
5	Fees	Please refer to Application Fees. Legalization/visa application fees are non-refundable once accepted, regardless of approval, rejection, or withdrawal of the application.
If you require authentication of your document's Chinese translation, please submit a translation that accurately reflects the meaning and format of the original text. The authentication fee will be calculated separately. (Alternatively, the authentication of the Chinese translation may be notarized by the notary office of a domestic court or a civil notary in Taiwan).
