This International Women’s Day, Cape Town was buzzing with energy and "Pink Power"! The Cape Town Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce Youth League(CTTCC-JC) hosted a thrilling Padel Tournament at Aura Padel Club, bringing together nearly 80 community members, young professionals, and local friends.
Highlights of the Day:
Celebrating Equality: Director General Chen Ying-li of TLO in Cape Town promoted gender equality and gender-based violence prevention. She even hit the court to experience Padel for the first time, emphasizing that community bonding is the ultimate win!
Honoring Leadership: CTTCC-JC President Tony Chang praised the rise of female leadership, citing Taiwan’s first female president, Tsai Ing-wen, as a role model, and thanked the female board members for their hard work in organizing this event.
Fun for Everyone: Professional coaches were on-site to guide beginners, ensuring a safe and exciting introduction to the sport.
Sweet Surprises: From an energetic lucky draw to beautiful red roses gifted to every lady in attendance, the atmosphere was filled with joy and appreciation.
