The Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Eastern Cape, South Africa, held its 13th General Assembly and leadership election in East London on May 23. OCAC Secretary Evan Tseng attended on behalf of the Taipei Liaison Office in Cape Town to witness the meaningful leadership handover.
Outgoing President Lin Tsai-ying thanked past leaders and members for their dedication and expressed excitement to see a younger generation stepping up to serve. Former Treasurer Ou Chun-wu was elected as the new President and officially took over during a warm and memorable handover ceremony. Nearly 40 members, families, and community friends gathered for the occasion, ending the event with laughter, unity, and great camaraderie!
