The Formosa Quartet returns to Vancouver to make their debut at the Chan Centre for Performing Arts with guest harpist Vivian Chen on March 8, 2019.
Winners of both the First Prize and Amadeus Prize at the London International String Quartet Competition, Formosa Quartet is "one of the very best quartets of their generation" (David Soyer, cellist, Guarneri Quartet).
Vivian Chen is a highly in-demand harpist who graduated from UBC’s Master of Music Harp Performance program with a full scholarship. She has performed as a guest principal harpist with the Vancouver Opera and Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra.
