Taiwanese community celebrates Double Tenth National Day with a series of flash events

Greater Vancouver Taiwanese Canadian Association organized four flash events to celebrate the 109th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). TECO Vancouver Director General Andy Chen was invited to the opening event on October 3, 2020 at Burnaby Mountain Park. Director General Chen and GVTCA co-chairs Maggie Wang, Christina Chang and Julia Hsieh led the participants in chanting "Happy Birthday", "Taiwan can help, Taiwan is helping" and "2020 Proud of Taiwan."

Followed the main event, three more flash activities took place at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver and Larry Berg Park in Richmond. The events were co-organized by Orchid Club, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in BC, and Distinguished Citizens Society International of Vancouver Canada, respectively, to jointly celebrate Double Tenth National Day.
