Do you know what the World Masters Games 2025 is? When is it held? Can you believe that the only eligibility requirement for participation is being aged 30 or above? What sports can one participate in? Following the 2017 Taipei Universiade, this is Taiwan's second time securing the hosting rights for a major international sporting event in over 30 years.
The World Masters Games is a well-known international multi-sport event held every four years, promoting "lifelong sports" and "sports for all," while also serving as a significant international event combining sports with tourism.
The inaugural World Masters Games was held in Toronto, Canada, in 1985!
Subsequent editions have been held in Denmark, Australia, the United States, Italy, New Zealand, and other locations. Originally scheduled for Kansai, Japan, in 2021, the event was postponed to 2027 due to the pandemic, making Taiwan the first Asian country to host the World Masters Games in 2025!
