From August 23 to 25, the festival will take place at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, filled with the flavors of Taiwan . Expect delicious food, mesmerizing TAIWANfest Orchestra ~Maestro Ken Hsieh, an art market, a Taiwan bookstore exhibition, hope lectures, family activities, workshops, dance and music performances, Taiwanese film showcases, community performances, and much more. An exciting lineup awaits!
The festival kicks off with a concert themed "Become Me," featuring music from Taiwan, Spain, and around the world, sure to captivate the audience.
Minister Chia-ching Hsu from the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Director-General Jin-ling Chen, colleagues, and hundreds of participants from Toronto’s overseas community, politics, academia, business, and consular corps joined with great enthusiasm.
MPs Hon. Judy Sgro, Paul Chiang, Anna Roberts, Kevin Vuong, Don Stewart, and MPPs Sheref Sabawy 、Billy Pang 、Aris Barbikian, among others, were invited and all praised Taiwan's cuisine, tourism, and the country's values of freedom, democracy, diversity, and inclusiveness.
