Celebrating the 113th Birthday of the Republic of China, Taiwan October's grand finale birthday party.
The Taiwanese community in Toronto gathered to celebrate the Republic of China(Taiwan)'s birthday! The Taiwan Merchant Association of Toronto and the Canada-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Development Association hosted the "Double Ten National Day Festival " at the bustling Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. It was great to see so many friends from The Taiwanese community in Toronto and many international friends.
Director General Jin-Ling Chen of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office personally greeted all 18 booths, thanking the outstanding businesses and organizations for their participation, which added so much to the event. Director General Chen also expressed gratitude to the organizers, Spencer Lee and Tim Chuang, and their teams for their creativity in organizing a fair with Taiwanese characteristics. They shared the joy and achievements of the Republic of China, including its freedom, democracy, and economic prosperity, with Canadian and international friends.
The event featured Taiwanese snacks, exciting performances, fun games, stamp collecting for prizes, a photo zone with the Taiwan black bear and the San Tai Zi gods. It was full of fun and excitement!
