A promise kept! Following up on last year's promise, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Toronto proudly stepped onto the field for the first time in recent years as "Team TECO”!
We are thrilled to support the historic Formosan Cup Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament, celebrating 52 years of community spirit in Toronto.
For people in Taiwan, baseball and softball are more than just sports—they are a shared cultural identity.
From its passionate founding by North American Taiwanese in 1974 to seeing second and third-generation youth running the bases today.
The tournament's inclusive spirit also shines brighter than ever, drawing passionate players from Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and Hong Kong communities to the diamond.
This event passes down Taiwan’s stories, values, and pride from generation to generation, and fosters friendship between Canada and Taiwan.
