Starting from April 9,2012, ROC visa applicants need to first access the website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/, fill out the visa application forms online and then print them out. The completed forms with bar codes and other required documents ought to be submitted to the R O C’s overseas missions which the applicants have selected while filling out their application forms. The offline application forms will no longer be accepted. **Please note that in order for the online application to be submitted properly, use Windows Internet Explorer, not Mozilla Firefox Explorer.

A)Single Entry: Validity 1 or 3 months.
B)Multiple Entry: Validity 6 months to 3 years.
Duration of Stay: Maximum 60 days from the following day of arrival.
2.General requirements
A)Canadian passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining). For applicants with Canadian landed immigrant or employment authorization status, please also submit the original official record for our reference.
B)Two identical standard passport photos in color. ( taken within the last six months）
C)Online Application, fill-out and print out, sign by the applicant: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/.
D)Supporting documents, such as business letter from Canadian firm, correspondence with company in Taiwan, travel itinerary or airline ticket, financial statement (bank balance), student card, etc. For dual citizenship applicants, please provide former or other nationality ID, like Taiwan, ROC passport. For applicants under age of 20, please provide father or mother's Taiwan, ROC passport or Taiwan ID card.
