DG Hsu, on behalf of the ROC (Taiwan) Government, donates 50,000 high quality made-in-Taiwan masks to the Government of Ontario

Director General Catherine Y. M. Hsu, on behalf of the R.O.C.(Taiwan) Government, donated 50,000 high-quality Made- in-Taiwan medical masks to the Government of Ontario on May 1 to fight hand in hand the COVID19 virus outbreak. Government House Leader Paul Calandra and Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, accepted the donation for the Ontario Government in the front of Queen's Park and expressed their sincere thanks to Taiwan for its friendship and support to Ontario in this difficult time.
After the donation ceremony, the masks were delivered directly to the warehouse and immediately distributed to the frontline medical staff. The ceremony was widely reported by Canadian media outlets, including CTV and CP24. The two ministers’ postings on social media were also warmly received from their followers.
