Members of the Taiwanese community in Toronto join Highland Games held in Oxford County, Ontario, to showcase the enduring friendship between Taiwan and Canada

Director General Jin-Ling Chen and colleagues were invited to participate in the 84th Embro Highland Games along with the Taiwanese community, Federal Member of Parliament Arpan Khanna, Ontario Member of Provincial Parliament Ernie Hardeman, and Deputy Mayor of Zorra Katie Grigg, to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st.
The Embro Highland Games is an important annual event in Oxford County, Ontario, celebrating Scottish culture. It features traditional activities and competitions such as bagpipe bands and caber tossing, attracting thousands of participants.
Nearly one hundred Taiwanese-Canadians enthusiastically participated in this event. The attendees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Taiwanese community for narrating this enduring historical friendship through cultural performances.
