Rep. Fadah Hsieh visited Delta Energy Systems (Switzerland) AG and attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the founding of Taiwan’s Delta Group

Rep. Hsieh was invited to visit Delta Energy System (Switzerland) located in Berne on June 16, 2011 and attended their party to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Taiwan’s Delta Group. Dr. Peter Hofstetter, Managing Director of the company, hosted the celebration ceremony and briefed to all visitors the development vision of the Delta Group and the R&D activities carried out by Delta Energy Systems in Switzerland.

Delta group was created in 1971 by Dr. Bruce Cheng in Taiwan. Today it is the largest manufacturer worldwide in power supply sectors. Delta Energy Systems (Switzerland) AG was established after its acquisition of a Swiss company in Berne in Switzerland in 2003. It has now an employment of more than 80 persons in Switzerland.

Rep. Hsieh congratulated the successful leading role Delta is now playing globally in green electrical power supply industries. He hopes to see more business presence by Taiwanese companies in Switzerland. He stressed his view that the strategic alliance between Switzerland and Taiwan is a “Smart Tie”.
