花蓮發生強震後，美國、日本、新加坡、澳洲、比利時、貝里斯、加拿大、捷克、多明尼加、薩爾瓦多、法國、瓜地馬拉、德國、海地、教廷、宏都拉斯、印度、印尼、馬來西亞、紐西蘭、尼加拉瓜、帛琉、巴拉圭、波蘭、聖克里斯多福及尼維斯、聖露西亞、聖文森、斯洛伐克、史瓦濟蘭、土耳其、英國、越南等32國政府及歐盟等，向我表達關懷慰問之意，部分國家也表達願提供救援物資或派遣專家來臺協助救災，外交部對此表達誠摯感謝。
