We are happy to announce that the Taiwanese percussionist and composer Ying-Hsueh Chen will have her two avantgarde music film and animation screened at Cinemateket at the Klang Festival in Copenhagen.
The two films are called Maskine (GB: Machine) and Mani.Matta with the vision that people from all walks of life can regain the innate ability to understand abstract beauty, an ability often lost during life. The two films are the result of collaboration between the Danish film artist Rikke Benborg and Ying-Hsueh Chen.
Ms. Chen says about the films: “The process of making the films has been an experience of joy and deepening, and we are all very pleased to be able to show these two short films to a large audience in Cinemateket, Copenhagen.”
The film project has been supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and Danish Composer’s Society. KLANG - Copenhagen Avantgarde Music Festival is the largest music festivals for contemporary music in Denmark.
Play time: June 2nd, 2019, 16:00
