Taiwan Technical Mission held a one-day workshop for basic vegetable and fruit planting

Fifteen local people who are interested to start farming fruits and vegetables, including Representative Jessica Lee from Taipei Trade Office, participated the one-day workshop for fundamental vegetable and fruit planting held by Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) on July 31, 2020.

In the workshop, the TTM specialists taught the participants necessary basic knowledge of vegetable and fruit planting, and then let every bodies practice basic daily management techniques of the farm, such as seedlings, irrigation and composting.

To encourage them to plant fruits and vegetables, each participant was awarded one well-known Taiwan guava sapling grafted on Fiji guava tree at the end of the workshop. They posed for a group photo to highlight this fruitful day.
